Access to Brill Journals

The UvA has taken a subscription on all journals of Brill. For History you will find about 80 titels with a range of topics that are now available for university staff and students. It is also possible to submit an article for a specific journal. More information on this is provided on the page of that specific journal in Brill.

Stay informed with TOC Alert
To stay informed when a new issue of a certain journal is available, you can make a TOC alert. This means that you will receive an email with the latest table of contents (TOC) when a new issue is available. To make an alert:

• Create an account on Brill
• Go to the page in Brill of a specific journal 
• Click on: Get eTOC Alerts (off)
• Choose: Enable Alert

To manage your alerts that you have subscribed to, go to: My Account > My Alerts page.
