New: primary sources with AM Explorer
With Adam Matthews Explorer we have added 75 databases with archival sources on different topics, spanning from 15th to 21st centuries materials (correspondence, registers, diaries, newspapers, oral histories, images etc). Topics include: global history, slavery, gender, food, colonialism, health, landscape. A complete overview can be found here. Access for now is available until the end of this year.

Searching and dowloading
There are different ways of searching within AM Explorer:
- Via a basic search option
You can search on keywords through all the 75 databases. It is possible to use the boolean search words: AND, OR, NOT when searching. After a search you will see the amount of results per database. - Browsing through the collections
You can filter the collection databases on: theme, time period and region. - Searching within a specific database
Choose within the collection a specific database. Soon all databases within AM Explorer will also be added separately to our database selector.
It is possible to download primary sources.
