Lecture on Open Access
From 2020, all academic publications funded with public money must be online available and accessible for everyone (= open access). This key ambition was put in the Dutch National Plan for Open Science (NPOS) and signed by ten organisations, including KNAW, NWO, VSNU in 2017. But what does all of this mean for you as researchers? How can you publish an article or book open access? And what about the costs to publish your work? Our specialist on (open access) publishing, mr. Pascal Braak, will give a talk on this topic on:
Thursday, the 31st of October,
from 13.30 - 15.00,
Bushuis (VOC-room)
Check our website on the specific topics. There will also be room to discuss open access in all facets e.g. (im)possibilities, business model, financing and policies.
