Corona implications library services

Only our central library location at the Singel and Roeterseiland location is open from Mon-Fri, 9 AM - 6 PM mainly for returning or collecting requested materials/literature.  It is also possible to print/scan/copy and there are a limited number of study places. Stay informed via our website:

Borrowed books renewed
The books that you have borrowed from the UvA library are automatically three times renewed with the exeption of reservations of the work by others.

Interlibrary loan on hold (IBL)
Borrowing literature from other Dutch libraries with interlibrary loan is possible, but could be delayed due to reduced staff at the library locations.   

Scanning of books/articles
Urgent need of printed materials, but unable to visit the University Library? You can:

1. Email me for a purchase request of the ebook version

2. Use our scanning service.

Course literature shelves (werkgroepplanken)
There are no course literature shelves
