UvA Library: the basics

Are you a new student or staff member at the University of Amsterdam?

1. Where is the History/American Studies library?
   PC Hoofthuis, 1st floor. Check the addresses of the library locations. 
2. What are the opening hours?
   Mon-Fri, from 9 AM to 6 PM.  
3. How can I borrow books?
   With your student or staff ID card of the UvA
4. Can I print, scan and copy at the library?
   Yes, you can.
5. Can I access ebooks and ejournals outside the UvA? 
   Yes, with your UvAnetID/VPN Client.
